Dr. Erlina Perez has dedicated her practice exclusively to matrimonial and family law. She has successfully handled a variety of family cases, including matters related to divorce, custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property distribution, domestic violence, and other related issues.
Dr. Erlina Perez received her J.D. from Rutgers University School Of Law in 2008, where she received the academic honor of being recognized as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. While attending law school, Dr. Pérez was chosen to join the Children’s Advocacy Clinic, where she represented children in matters related to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP & P). Following her graduation from law school, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rosemary E. Ramsay, JSC in Morris County, New Jersey.
Dr. Perez has experience in all facets of family law litigation. She has also served as a volunteer attorney for the Battered Women’s Housing of New Jersey where she represented clients in numerous domestic violence proceedings.
Dr. Perez speaks fluent Spanish.
